When Torstein Træen finished the stage in Foix taking over the yellow jersey over from Tadej Pogacar, the celebrations at Belgian Cycling Factory in Beringen quickly turned into action. Within hours, Ridley created a unique yellow Noah Fast matching cycling's most iconic jersey: handcrafted in Belgium and delivered to Uno-X Mobility less than 30 hours after Træen became the new Tour leader.

The project highlights one of Ridley's biggest strengths: custom painting and building bikes in-house in Belgium. Unlike most bicycle brands, Ridley still carries out nearly every step of the process under one roof in Beringen, including its own custom paint department.

For this special bike, founder Jochim Aerts returned to the paint booth, the place where his career began in the 1990s. Wearing his painter's suit once again, he personally sprayed the Noah Fast in the distinctive yellow of the Tour leader.

"Ridley is still a 100% family-owned company, and almost everything we do happens here in our Belgian factory," says CEO Jochim Aerts. "Our in-house paint department allows us to build truly unique bikes for our customers. Moments like this show exactly what makes Ridley different. Seeing the yellow jersey on a Ridley is something special, and we wanted Torstein's bike to reflect that."

As soon as Træen took the yellow jersey, a Noah Fast frameset was selected from stock and prepared for painting. After curing, clear coating, decals and final quality control, the frameset was packed for immediate transport.

On wednesday, Team Support & Equipment Coordinator Wesley Widar personally delivered the bike to Biarritz, where it arrived for the Uno-X Mobility mechanics to prepare ahead of the next stage.

Everyone and everything turned in to yellow at Belgian Cycling Factory, the project became much more than building a bike. It was a proud moment for every employee who contributes to developing and manufacturing Ridley bicycles in Belgium.

Ridley riders have celebrated many major victories over the years, including The green jersey from Robby McEwan, Victor Campenaerts' Hour Record, Jonas Abrahamsen's Tour de France stage win, Lindsay De Vylder's Omnium World Championship and Jelle Geens' IRONMAN 70.3 World Championship titles. But the yellow jersey remains the most iconic achievement in professional cycling.

And now, it is riding on a Ridley.
