DT Swiss has issued an important “Stop-Use Notice” for specific carbon wheelsets—ERC, CRC, and HEC models with 35 mm or 45 mm rims—manufactured and delivered from 1 September 2024 onward, bearing a DT Swiss ID of 2750000 or higher. What’s Going On?

  • A limited number of wheel failures have been reported, involving spontaneous delamination of the carbon rim flange, leading to potential structural collapse DT Swiss.
  • These issues appear isolated to products delivered since 1 September 2024, with earlier models unaffected DT Swiss.

  1. Locate your DT Swiss ID sticker—a tamper-proof label with a QR or dot code and 7‑digit ID—on the rim:

  • If listed, stop using the wheel and register your case.
  • If not listed, you’re good to go.
  1. If the sticker is missing or unreadable, email recall@dtswiss.com with your rim’s serial number (found under the TL‑Tape), so DT Swiss can verify manually DT Swiss+10DT Swiss+10DT Swiss+10.

DT Swiss is conducting a thorough investigation.
