The Paris-Roubaix is one of the oldest bike races in the world, and after it was cancelled in 2020, the only time the race has been cancelled outside of a World War, the 2021 Paris-Roubaix took place on Sunday October 3rd. The course pits the riders against 259km of roads, 55km of which are brutal cobbled sections. This is longer than the average Grand Tour stage, the competition is fierce along the entire route, and the surface is treacherous in the wet.
This year, the conditions were in a word, WET! The scene was set for a race of epic proportions. Watch Team Qhubeka NextHash Race For Change – Episode 5, for a taste of the day!
